Welcome to Hollinsclough – a tiny village nestling up to beautiful Chrome Hill in the upland reaches of the Dove Valley, in the heart of the Peak District.  Some 163 people live within the parish which attracts many visitors to look at the breathtaking scenery and glorious views. 

 

The peace and tranquillity belie the fact that Hollinsclough has a vibrant community with many activities.  In addition to regular annual events such as the Good Friday Tea Party, May Flower Festival, Village Fete, Pea and Pie Supper and Carols by Candlelight, the Chapel Hall hosts numerous diverse courses;  from plumbing to art classes, DTP to 16th century will reading. 

 

A significant number of people are keen local historians.  It is as a result of their work over the years that this site has been created.
